Today was the last meeting of the 2006 West Midlands Regional Executive (and Conference Committee). I have been on the Executive as the Regional Training Officer for the last three years and previously as an LDYS Representative and Ordinary Member. A number of Officers are not on next year and I would like to thank them, without fail it has been a pleasure to work with them - so thank you Tracey, Jerry, Napier and Garth.
Next year I will be Vice Chair of the West Midlands Regional Executive and Stuart Ritchie will be Chair. 2007 will be a busy year, with a huge set of elections in May, stepping up a gear with the Moving Forward Seats and increased preparation for the General Election and European Election.
One of my main aims for 2007 is to improve regional communication, between the Region and local parties and individual members - one of the reasons I set this website up in the first place.
