West Park wins a Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance award

My local park - West Park has been awarded a Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance award. This is excellent news the award is only given to venues that achieve excellence in all elements of the visitor experience.

The park is just round the corner from my house, and was a factor when I bought my house, is great. There is often something on for the whole community from brass-bands to one-day/weekend-long celebrations. Even when there is nothing on it is still a good place to have a walk feed the ducks or borrow Robin and Lexi's children to play on the swings with!
