Alice Field, Liberal Democrat Candidate in the Bede by-election

Bedworth Liberal Democrats have launched their website - it is at http://www.bedworthlibdems.org.uk/

Bedworth is a new branch of the Liberal Democrats in the Borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth and their website was launched when they were. The website has a number of features including a Who's Who and two blogs.

Bedworth will also see a by-election in Bede Ward on 8 February, where local campaigner Alice Field will be the Liberal Democrat candidate.

Councillor Pete Ashby, said, "Alice is just what this Council needs: a young, modern voice bringing energy, enthusiasm and ideas. And she's exactly what Bede residents need too: someone who will listen to what they want, not just another councillor who decides for them. I look forward to working with her."

Alice Field said on being selected, "I look forward to the opportunity to represent Bedworth people, and I'm grateful for the support of my local party colleagues. Representation is what this by-election is truly about: not a battle with other parties, but a dialogue with local residents about their needs and how to best meet them."
