Wolverhampton South West update - Park4.52.43pm GMT Sat 13th Jan 2007 After updating on Tettenhall Regis I thought it would be worth an update on Park Ward (I'll leave the St. Peters, Tettenhall Wightwick and the other wards for now). Robin Lawrence, the Liberal Democrat candidate is going great guns, in between Tettenhall Regis leaflets this week I was able to give him a hand going out knocking on doors and will do another couple of hours later tonight. From our door-knocking earlier in the week we picked up a new member and a new deliverer as well as several people who said they would display a poster when the elections come. We had a warm reception from every door and a number of people commented on how much Robin has done so far for the ward. Without wanting to tempt fate I think Robin should get elected this year, he missed by just 128 votes last year. It would be great if both he and I (I am standing in Tettenhall Regis) were to be elected not only are we friends we work really well together and as the Ward adjoin I am sure there will be much we can work on together.
