Liberal Democrats back up to 23%12.07.46pm GMT Tue 23rd Jan 2007
In the latest Guardian/ICM Poll the Liberal Democrats are back up to 23% after a couple of bad polls. There is always the chance the previous polls were 'rogue polls' and this is were the Liberal Democrats were, or the Liberal Democrats really did improve by 5% in a month. The Conservatives now have a 6% lead on 37% (down 3 on last month) and Labour are on 31% (down 1%). Almost two-thirds of those questioned, 62%, say their opinion of Blair has become worse over the last year, including 45% of Labour supporters. 30% also said their view of Brown has become worse over the past year, compared with 17% who think their view of him has improved.
