Herefordshire Annual Dinner and Colin is won!

Friday night say Hereford and Leominster have a joint Annual Dinner, Lembit Opik MP was the Guest speaker but Hereford's Liberal Democrat MP Paul Keetch also spoke. I am told the event had almost 80 people in attendance. I had been approached by the organisers for a auction prize, so donated some campaigning time in the run up to their elections in May.

I was 'won' by Polly Andrews and Lucy Hurds for a total of £100, a bit less than what I was 'won' for in Bedfordshire but still a good amount for the local party. Polly and I were both at University of Wolverhampton at the same time and I was involved in his first election back in the mid 90's so it's quite nice that I will be again helping her, Lucy is involved in the West Midlands Moving Forward programme and I have got to know her fairly well through that as it will be good to help her.
