Liberal Democrats at the London rally against war in Iraq

The Stop the War Coalition and West Midlands CND are calling on people to show their opposition to the war in Iraq and demand British troops are pulled out at a rally at 4pm on Saturday at the Council House, Victoria Square.

Independent MP Clare Short, Birmingham Respect councillor Salma Yaqoob and CND vice-chairman Bruce Kent will join anti-war protesters at the rally.

Ms Short said "Most British people think the Iraq war was wrong and that US and UK policy is making the world more dangerous and divided at a time when we need more co-operation to deal with the dangers of global warming."
