UKIP rejects disabled candidate

4.33.05pm GMT Wed 28th Feb 2007

UKIP has apparently rejected Jack Biggs as a local election candidate because he is disabled according to Sky News. UKIP Leader Nigel Farage is saying that they stopped him being a "priority" candidate has he couldn't knock on doors or deliver leaflets, but he's welcome to stand as a paper candidate. Nice eh!

In other UKIP news, they have suspended their East of England MEP - Tom Wise - as he is being investigated by the European Anti-Fraud Office.
