Wyre Forest and Kenliworth and Southam advertise for candidates10.40.20am GMT Tue 6th Mar 2007 Two more West Midlands seats have now advertised for a Candidate for the General Election - Wyre Forest and Kenilworth and Southam. Wyre Forest is currently heard by Independent Dr. Richard Taylor, the Liberal Democrats did not stand in either 2001 or 2005 but supported Dr. Taylor. Dr. Taylor has announced that he will not re-stand in the next General Election. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate to make their mark by rebuilding a parliamentary campaign from scratch. Potential candidates should contact the Returning Officer, Bryan Lewis, 3 Merridale Crescent, Wolverhampton, WV3 9QY, phone 01902 42337, email bryanlewis@blueyonder.co.uk for an application pack. Applications must be received by the Returning Officer by 5pm on 23rd March.. Kenilworth and Southam is a new seat created by the boundary changes and should be an interesting seat.
