Ian's 30th birthday

Yesterday was Ian's 30th birthday, Faye threw him a surprise birthday party - with a fancy-dress headwear theme (I know!). So all over to Coventry. It was a really good evening and very well attended. Ian had an inkling last week but Faye managed to persuade him nothing was happening.

It was good to catch up with some people I haven't seen for a while and friends of Ian's that I haven't seen since his and Faye's wedding.

Today was less good struggling with public transport to get home, why do trains never run properly on a Sunday and will they ever again?
