Cat

Random cat

Well the curse of Colin struck and it snowed, of course it waited until the team and I were out canvassing - luckily we could hide in a house during the worst of it. Last year during the local election campaign I was bitten by a dog - twice - now the first blood has been split in this year's local elections and even more pathetically I was attacked by a cat!

At one house no one was in, so I started to put our calling leaflet through and all of a sudden I got scratched, I was more surprised than anything else. It was definitely a cat as I could see it through the frosted door. Fine I thought and carried on it was only two doors later when I noticed the bleeding, it lasted for a good hour and would not clot so must have been far deeper than I thought. So maybe it will be cats that blight the campaign this time...
