Winning in Park

An amusing afternoon and evening in Park Ward today. I was helping Robin Lawrence, as were some others. We decided to go to two particular polling districts. Who should we bump into but what seemed like most of the Labour Party - I pity the electors in the area more than anything else!

We were knocking, and incidentally had a really good response. I am not sure what Labour were doing the candidate was knocking the MP was talking to residents but the others just appeared to be delivering - not quite sure I would have organised it that way.

Despite party politics we exchanged our hellos and every was very friendly to each other - which, of course, is how it should be.

As we enter the final week, it is looking good - but I think it will be even closer this time. Last time Robin was just 128 votes behind Labour. From our canvassing the Tories are actually going backwards, probably as it so clear they cannot win here and its quite polarised between Robin and Labour.
