You can normally rely on Birmingham to have some interesting results, and indeed interesting campaigns!

Labour lost three overall, the Tories won three overall and there were no other net changes. We did win one Ward - Gwyn Neilly won in Hodge Hill Ward (many will remember the ward from the Birmingham Hodge Hill by-election), this gain bodes well for us in the Parliamentary seat. Sadly we lost Dilawer Khan in Sparkbrook to RESPECT (RESPECT lost a seat elsewhere).

One of the best results was in Tyburn John Line moved from fourth to second just 472 votes behind Labour.
