Earlier today I attended the new Ambassador of Andorra - Mrs Maria Rosa Picart de Francis - Vin d'Honneur. The Vin d'Honneur followed the presentation of her letter of credence to Her majesty the Queen.

I was honoured to attend, I was surprised at how few British politicians were present - I only spotted Lord (John) Alderdice. There were a number of other Ambassador's and obviously family and friends of the Ambassador.

The Ambassador arrived in a horse-drawn carriage from Buckingham Palace before meeting her guests.
