OPUS

I haven't done a restaurant review in a while, mainly because I have been going to the same places. Last night I went out for Kate's birthday with John and Caroline. We went to Opus in Birmingham (54 Cornwall Street), and had a really good evening.

The food was excellent, the wine very good and the service superb and very attentive. OPUS specialises in Fish, but that did not stop us trying lots of different food. I had a Goat's Cheese starter followed by a Leg of Duck main course, although I tried some of Kate's Beef too, We had different sweets each all trying a bit of each others.

We all commented how reasonably priced it was, I am sure that we will all visit again.

OPUS has has won two awards this week at the 'Taste of Birmingham', it won Rising Star and Best Wine List.
