Wolverhampton longlisted for the Penhaligon Award

Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats have been longlisted for this years Penhaligon Award. The Award is the Liberal Democrat membership award, and is judged not only on recruitment and retention but also how members are treated and newsletters and social events.

Wolverhampton Liberal Democrat have had a couple of years of good growth in membership. I do not expect us to win the award but it is a good sign to have been longlisted and shows that we are being noticed at a national level. I also hear that Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats may be in the running for another national award this autumn, more when that is confirmed.
