Cows on a farm.

Some good news regarding Foot and Mouth. The European Union has lifted the ban on exports of British livestock, meat and dairy products imposed after the outbreak.

The movement ban on live animals within the country is also being ended outside the 10km surveillance zone around the farmland in Surrey where the disease was discovered earlier this month. The ban on animal markets and shows in England and Wales will remain for now.
