Will there by an General Election this Autumn

Election rumours have been rife this last week. Last week I was fairly convinced there would not be a Autumn General Election but that have been wishful thinking. However this week I have become convinced there will be for various reasons.

I don't think Brown was looking to have an election this autumn but has been boxed into it, partly by his own side. I can see all the reasons why not to have an election now, but I think if I was Brown I would call it. We will have to wait and see what happens.
