Martyn Smith's funeral

Yesterday I attended Martyn Smith's funeral. Whilst I knew Martyn I learnt much more about him and his past including he has also been a Councillor in Newcastle-under-Lyme as well as in Sandwell.

The funeral was very well attended and there were many messages from people who couldn't be there. I thought it was very fitting that the service ended with the singing of The Land.
