Basil Baldwin Rest in Peace

Today I attended the funeral service for Basil Baldwin. Basil was a former Councillor in Hereford, and indeed former Mayor of the City who I had the pleasure of working with when I worked in Hereford.

Basil sadly passed away last week after battling Cancer. Basil served as a councillor on Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council and Shropshire County Council, before serving on Hereford City Council and Herefordshire and Worcestershire County Council.

Basil is survived by his wife Sylvia, children Peter, Christine and David, and five grandchildren.
