Blair converts to Catholicism

The main headline today is that Tony Blair has converted to Catholicism. Why he waiting until he had left office is beyond me, if he had converted in office it would have sent a clear messgae out that Catholics are not and should not be second class citizens in this country. They is much much anti-Catholic legislation on the statute books - all of which should be repealed.
