The Stop the War Coalition has been nominated and shortlisted for the highly prestigious Channel 4 News award for most influential political figures of the decade.

This is subject to a public vote to the winner thewinner, which will be announced on the night of the awards at Channel 4 on the 23 January 2008, and the awards themselves will be televised on the 27 January. The closing date for voting is 18 January.
