Liberal Democrats come second in Droitwich

In what appears to have been the only council by-election in the country yesterday the Liberal Democrats came second to Labour in the Chawson Ward by-election on Droitwich Town Council. This is despite not standing last time.

The full result was:

Labour 213 votes

Janet Clarke - Liberal Democrats 182 votes

Conservative - 171 votes
