McCain wins in South Carolina and Romney wins in Nevada

McCain looks like he is gaining the momentum in the Republican Presidential race after winning in South Carolina, although Romney won in Nevada is wasn't contested in any meaningful way by any other candidate.

In South Carolina McCain won 33% of the votes, Mike Huckabee was second with 30%, Fred Thompson was third with 16% and Mitt Romney fourth on 15%.

In Nevada Romney won with over 50% of the vote.

The next Republican contest is the Florida primary on January 29.
