Senator Edward Kennedy and JFK's daughter Caroline and nephew Patrick have all publicly backed Barack Obama for the Democrat nomination.

Senator Kennedy said of Obama's campaign "I feel change in the air," he went on to say "As John Kennedy said, the world is changing. The old ways will not do. It is time for a new generation of leadership,"
