Labour hold on in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Labour have held in the Butt Lane ward by-election in Newcastle-under-Lyme despite a strong challenge from the Liberal Democrats

Labour 295 votes

Liberal Democrat - Dennis Richards - 264 votes

Conservative 161 votes

UKIP 117votes
