Conservatives gain in Bromsgrove

A late result from last week, the Conservatives gained a seat in Slideslow Ward on Bromsgrove Council. The seat was previously held by Gordon Selway for the Liberal Democrats. The Liberal Democrats failed to stand a candidate.

The full result:

Conservative 372 votes 33.9%

Ind 317 votes 28.9%

Labour 304 votes 27.7%

UKIP 104 votes 9.5%
