Tories oust their Leader on Wolverhampton Council

News reached me this morning of a highly charged meeting of the Wolverhampton Conservatives last night which resulted in Cllr Paddy Bradley being ousted as Leader and replaced by Cllr Joan Stevenson as temporary Leader.

I expect to read more later in the local paper and hear more through the normal political gossip. What strikes me as odd is the decision to change leader just before the local elections I can only assume they believe they had good reason to do so.
