Wightwick Manor

This afternoon Caroline, Kate and I went to Wightwick Manor, despite living in Wolverhampton for a while I had never visited Wightwick Manor.

Wightwick Manor is a National Trust property and was the home to Sir Geoffrey Mander the last Liberal MP for Wolverhampton. Wightwick Manor was built for the Mander family who were also famous for paint.

The property is now a showcase of William Morris furnishing, fabrics, wallpapers and stained glass and pre-Raphaelite art.

It was a good afternoon out, my only disappointment was they was only a little bit of information about the Mander family.
