New Tory Leader to face leadership challenge?

4.37.00pm UTC (GMT +0000) Thu 27th Mar 2008

The local Wolverhampton paper has reported that although Councillor Neville Patten is the new Leader of the local Conservative Party on the Council it is likely he will be challenged after the May local elections.

It states that Councillor Wendy Thompson has said her chances of standing again depends on feeling of the Group after those elections.

I recently met Councillor Thompson (we were on the radio together) she seems very good and clearly cares about our City, it will be interesting to see what happens.
