Earlier today Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg was in Birmingham visiting Heartlands Hospital with Birmingham Hodge Hill Parliamentary Candidate Councillor Tariq Khan and Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council, Councillor Paul Tilsley.

The visit concentrated on elderly care and new systems being developed by Heartlands Hospital to use mobile Wifi-enabled information technology at the bedside. Nick Clegg, Councillor Tariq Khan and Councillor Paul Tilsley also discussed progress on the latest development plans in and around the Hospital with clinicians and Trust managers.
