As part of our local election campaign we had Lembit Opik MP campaigning in St Peter's Ward in Wolverhampton this afternoon. Lembit is the third Liberal Democrat MP to visit St Peter's Ward this year.

Lembit and a group of 8 of us locals knocked doors in the Whitmore Reans area of St Peter's and the response was fantastic, many Labour voters are switching this time and we could be on the verge of an historic result.

The local newspaper the Express and Star covered the visit, and Wolverhampton Community Radio carried an interview with Lembit on Friday.
