Of recent I have not been blogging much, the odd paragraph here and there - the reason is twofold.

One reason I have been very busy of recent with the local elections and then working with a number of people on what should be done in Wolverhampton following the results (I may blog more on that another time). The second reason is my internet at home has been playing up, it seems fixed now and thanks to those that helped me with getting it fixed.

Last week I got an email from www.wikio.co.uk telling me that they had started doing monthly rankings for the most influential blogs in the UK blogosphere and I was 266! Obviously this is good news, hence the new little logo on the homepage - it will be interesting to see how O progress over the next few months but it has certainly encouraged me to write a few more in depth pieces and now the Internet is fixed I will try and write some.

Also earlier in the year I tried a couple of guest blogs and want to look at that again, if you have something liberal(ish) or with a West Midlands focus get in touch at guest@colin-ross.org.uk
