The Dalai Lama's visit

I can see no good reason why the Dalai Lama should not be met at 10 Downing Street, unless it is another example of Brown being a bottle-job. Even Bush met the Dalai Lama publicly!

In fact Brown should publicly meet the Dalai Lama to send a powerful message to the Chinese.
