Lobby your MP on Votes at 16

10.34.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Tue 27th May 2008

The Votes at 16 Private Members Bill proposed by Julie Morgan MP is scheduled for Friday 6th June 2008 at 9.30am in the House of Commons main chamber.

Votes at 16, the lobbying group are asking that as many people as possible do one of more of the following to try and make Votes at 16 a reality:

  • send a letter to your MP asking him/her to support the Bill (using the link above)

  • email all your family and friends asking them to send the letter to their MP as well

  • invite all your friends to join the Votes at 16 facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2256654002

Please make sure you do send the letter to your MP and get as many other people as you can to do the same - it really could make a big difference to what happens on the day and could be a big step in making Votes at 16 a reality.
