The Mayor of Doncaster sets up own party

The Mayor of Doncaster Martin Winter has resigned from the Labour Party and formed his own political group.

Mr Winter has been elected twice but Labour rules do not allow someone to run for a third time, so doing this will allow him to run for a third time.
