Wolverhampton-Walsall trained to be axed (again)10.24.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 14th Jul 2008 The ongoing saga of the Wolverhampton-Walsall train service has taken another turn. According to the local paper the service is to be axed after the Government decided to withdraw funding. The service used by hundreds of passengers a day will be off the tracks by the end of the year unless millions of pounds can be found to save it.
