The Bourne update

For those that are interested, Councillor David Bourne has resigned from his Cabinet role and the Conservative Party, I am not sure if Councillor Carol Bourne has also resigned from the Conservatives (but I suspect she has).

Councillor David Bourne in a statement regarding the recent allegations said "People are free to criticise me - I don't care."

I suspect this means the Councillors Bourne will try and ride out the current storm around the Sunday Mirror allegations and remain as Councillors, but time will see.
