Liberal Democrats discuss Environmental policy6.00.00pm UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 15th Sep 2008 This afternoon the Liberal Democrats had a panel debate on the Environment featuring Chris Davies MEP (Environment Spokesperson, European Parliament), Dorothy Thornhill (Mayor of Watford) and Jonathon Porritt CBE (Chair, UK Sustainable Development Commission). The environment is key to Liberal Democrat beliefs, here in Wolverhampton we practice what we preach it has been the Liberal Democrats that have campaigned hardest for improving recycling and as a result Wolverhampton Council will be introducing plastic recycling later this year.
