Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats have won the national Liberal Democrat Penhaligon Award for membership.
Dave Hodgson, the Liberal Democrat Membership Development Officer said "Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats have won the award this year for their large increase in membership, the way they involve members and for the large and diverse range of social and political events."
Local Party Chair Colin Ross said "We are greatly honoured to have won this award and see it as yet another recognition of the Liberal Democrats in Wolverhampton South West, earlier this year we won a regional membership award and last year won the Albert Ingham Award for best campaign in the country."
