Ros Scott wins the Liberal Democrat Presidential Election3.00.00pm GMT Sat 8th Nov 2008
Baroness Ros Scott has won the election for next President of the Liberal Democrats and the result was: Ros Scott 20,736 votes (72%) Lembit Opik 6,247 votes (22%) Chandila Fernando 1,799 votes (6%) Ros Scott will take up office on 1st January, succeeding Simon Hughes.
