Waltzing with Bashir

Last night I went to see Waltz with Bashir

The film remembers the (first) Israeli-Lebanon war in 1982 and concentrates on the massacre at Sabra and Shatila where 800 civilians dies after the death Bashir Gemayel.

The film, which is in Hebrew with English subtitles, is mainly animated and though these seems weird it makes the ending so much better.

The massacre was carried out by a Lebanese Christian militia (Phalangists), while Israeli forces encircled the camps where many were murdered.

It was difficult to this film and not think of the current conflict in Gaza.
