Bye from BA‏

4.00.00pm GMT Fri 14th Feb 2003

I leave BA tomorrow and head North to Paraguay and then Brazil, so thought I would drop you another line, I probably wont get another chance until Brazil now.

Well BA, and Argentina, has been fantastic. Since my last email to you I visited the more slum area, which whilst bad by the UKs standards was not anywhere near as bad as what I have seen in some parts of Southern Africa. I also visited the Congress, very much based on the US one, I also visited the Presidential Palace, where I bumped into ex-President and Presidential candidate for 2003 Carlos Menem!

I also attended another demo against impending war in Iraq, organised by the Argentine-Arab friend-alliance, not as well organised before but slightly better in terms of a candle light sing-song.
