Former Conservative A-List Candidate defects to the Liberal Democrats

Leading businesswoman Beverley Nielsen, a former Conservative A-List candidate has defected to the Liberal Democrats in West Worcestershire.

I do not know Beverley Nielsen, but I am told she is a very good businesswoman and was a former Midlands Businesswoman of the Year.

The most interesting part is she is from West Worcestershire, and is standing for the Liberal Democrats for Worcestershire County Council in June, her defection must be a great fillip to Richard Burt who is our Parliamentary candidate in West Worcestershire and has a very good chance of beating the Conservatives there (if the Liberal Democrats were to only win one Parliamentary seat from the Conservatives next time I would bet on Richard in West Worcestershire).
