As soon as one set of elections are over another lot come along. We have two confirmed by-elections and three potential by-elections.
On 9 July there will by a by-election in the Whittington Ward of Lichfield District Council. This is as a result of the sitting Conservative Councillor resigning. The next by-election will be in the Arbury and Stockingford Division of Warwickshire County Council. One of the Conservatives who was elected is actually ineligible (it really shouldn't have got to this stage!) so there will be a by-election.
There may also be a by-election in Solihull and a dual one in Worcestershire/Wyre Forest but that depends on the courts as two Conservative Councillors have been charged and await their days in court.
