The Close Shave!1.31.00pm GMT Tue 8th Dec 2009
As you probably knew I went for my Cut Throat Razor shave on Sunday, well the good news is Mat O'Marah from www.waxingforguys.co.uk is not Wolverhampton's answer to Sweeny Todd and I am not in a pie!
The better news is so far the growing and shaving of the beard has raised £280 for charity, donations can still be sent (to Freepost RRSZ-EATX-GEKC Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats 3 Merridale Crescent Wolverhampton WV3 9QY and cheques made payable to Colin Ross) - it would be nice to top £300. Thanks to everyone who has already donated. Details of charities getting money are below.
Attached are some photographs for you amusement, the first is from a couple of weeks ago, followed by just before the first shave, then the application of shaving cream for the second shave, the second shave itself, and then me clean shaven and one with Mat.
I must admit I was a little nervous before the shave but Mat put me at ease and it was a great experience with all the hot and cold towels and the cut throat razoring was fun better than I thought it would be!
