Wolverhampton Council counted the local election ballots on Friday afternoon.

Only one seat changed hands - Labour gained a seat in the Wednesfield North Ward from the Conservatives. This resulted in the number of Councillors on Wolverhampton City Council as:

Labour 29

Conservative 26

Liberal Democrats 5
